B.J. Sander
William Herbert "B. J." Sander (born July 29, 1980) is a former American football punter who played for one year (2005) in the National Football League (NFL) with the Green Bay Packers. He was drafted by the Packers in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Ohio State University. Early years Sander attended Roger Bacon High School in St. Bernard, Ohio and was a letterman in football. In football, he averaged 43.5 yards per punt as a junior. As a senior, he was a first-team All-Ohio selection. William Herbert Sander graduated from Roger Bacon High School in 1999. A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snap (gridiron football), snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then Punt (gridiron football), punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage. This generally happens on a fourth down in American football and a third down in Canadian football. 2004 NFL Draft
The 2004 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 24–25, 2004 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. No teams chose to claim any players in the supplemental draft that year. The draft was shown on ESPN both days and eventually moved to ESPN2 both days. The draft began with the San Diego Chargers selecting Mississippi quarterback Eli Manning with the first overall selection. Jon Ryan
Jonathan Robert Ryan (born November 26, 1981) is a retired Canadian professional football punter. He played college football for the University of Regina Rams, and began his professional career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL) after being selected in the Canadian College Draft. He also played for the Green Bay Packers and was a member of the Seattle Seahawks for ten seasons. Early years Ryan was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. On Halloween when he was 8 years old, he dressed up as a punter. He attended Sheldon-Williams Collegiate for high school, where he played as running back, placekicker and punter on the school's football team. Ryan was a member of the Sheldon-Williams team that defeated the Evan Hardy Souls 41–7 to capture the 1999 Saskatchewan High School provincial championship.
