''B-And-B'' is a British television sitcom starring Bernard Braden, his wife Barbara Kelly and their daughter Kim Braden. It was written by Michael Pertwee, and aired for a pilot and one series in 1968. Barbara Kelly (5 October 1923 – 15 January 2007) was a Canadian-British actress, best known for her television roles in the United Kingdom opposite her husband Bernard Braden in the 1950s and 1960s, and for many appearances as a panelist on the British version of ''What's My Line?'' Early years Barbara Kelly was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1923. As a child, she was given elocution lessons, and while Kelly hated the stage her mother was a frustrated actress. Kelly's first professional role was playing the Virgin Mary in a nativity play. Her father, an Irishman, was a lorry driver in Vancouver. Her mother, who was from Manchester, forced ballet classes and elocution lessons on her. Deeply unhappy at home, in 1942 she escaped to marry the actor and broadcaster Bernard Braden, and she soon did much radio work and toured across Canada in a stage show. Michael Henry Pertwee (24 April 1916, Kensington, London – 17 April 1991, Camden, London) was an English playwright and screenwriter. Kim Braden
Kim Braden (born November 1948) is a British-born U.S.-based former actress. Biography Braden is a daughter of the actor and broadcaster Bernard Braden and the actress Barbara Kelly, both originally from Canada. Braden came to prominence in the title role of the popular BBC television series ''Anne of Green Gables'' (1972), although this adaptation was lost after the master videotapes were wiped and it is unknown if any copies exist. She reprised her role in the 1975 sequel, ''Anne of Avonlea'', which has survived in the BBC's archive. Bernard Braden
Bernard Chastey Braden (16 May 1916 – 2 February 1993) was a Canadian-born British actor and comedian, who is best known for his appearances in UK television and radio shows. Life Braden was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and educated at Magee Secondary School, Kerrisdale, Vancouver. He produced plays on CJOR Vancouver in the late 1930s and early 1940s. He married Barbara Kelly in 1942, and they moved to Toronto the same year. They had two children, Christopher and Kelly Braden. Seven years later, he, his wife and two children moved to England. A third child, Kim, was born in London in 1949. He was the subject of '' This Is Your Life'' in 1991, when he was surprised by Michael Aspel outside the Aldwych Theatre. Pauline Collins (born 3 September 1940) is a British actress who first came to prominence portraying Sarah Moffat in '' Upstairs, Downstairs'' (1971–1973) and its spin-off, ''Thomas & Sarah'' (1979). In 1992, she published her autobiography, titled ''Letter to Louise''.
