Kaan Ayhan (born 10 November 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or centre-back as well as operating as a right back for Süper Lig club Galatasaray, on loan from Sassuolo. Born in Germany, he represents the Turkey national team. Club career Schalke 04 Ayhan joined Schalke 04's youth academy when he was four years old. Süreyya Ayhan Kop (born September 6, 1978) is a Turkish former female middle distance track runner who specialised in the 1500 metres. In November 2009, she was banned for life by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) due to her second anti- doping rule violation. Ayhan ran for the sports clubs MTA Ankara and Fenerbahçe Istanbul. She then joined the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club. She holds Turkish records in 800 m (2:00.64) and 1500 m (3:55.33). Ayhan Karakuş (born October 13, 1989) is a Turkish wrestler competing in the 55 kg division of Greco-Roman style. The athlete is a member of Kasımpaşaspor Club in Istanbul, where he is coached by İbrahim Yıldırım. His twin brother Erhan Karakuş is also a national wrestler in Greco-Roman style with international success. Ayhan Karakuş qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics and finished in 16th place. Ayhan Kartal (born Ayhan Korniş, 1966 – March 13, 2000) was a Turkish rapist and child killer. He was stabbed to death by his roommates in a mental hospital. Crimes On April 20, 1985, Ayhan Korniş killed the 13-year-old Armağan Kayadipli by strangling him after he raped him in the İkiçeşmelik quarter of Kemeraltı district in Izmir. He was placed in a mental hospital in Bakırköy, Istanbul, and was released following about one-year long psychiatric treatment. He changed his surname from Korniş to Kartal. On September 23, 1989, Kartal raped and killed the 9-year-old boy Barış Kurt in Şirinyer, Izmir. He was apprehended while he was hiding in a chest at his home at Pınarbaşı, Bornova in Izmir. Ayhan Aydan (1924, Ankara – 19 February 2009, Çeşme, Izmir) was a Turkish opera singer. In 1944, she graduated from Ankara State Conservatory Opera Department. She appeared in some small operas. Carl Ebert noticed her, and her role as Susanna in the opera '' The Marriage of Figaro'' started her professional career. When she was 19 years old, she married musician Hasan Ferit Alnar and had a son named ''Aydan'' from this marriage. Ebert wanted to take Ayhan Aydan to England to participate on stage at the Glyndebourne Opera Festival, but she could not participate on this for some reason.
