Kaan Ayhan (born 10 November 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or centre-back as well as operating as a right back for Süper Lig club Galatasaray, on loan from Sassuolo. Süreyya Ayhan Kop (born September 6, 1978) is a Turkish former female middle distance track runner who specialised in the 1500 metres. In November 2009, she was banned for life by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) due to her second anti- doping rule violation. Ayhan ran for the sports clubs MTA Ankara and Fenerbahçe Istanbul. Ayhan Kartal (born Ayhan Korniş, 1966 – March 13, 2000) was a Turkish rapist and child killer. He was stabbed to death by his roommates in a mental hospital. Crimes On April 20, 1985, Ayhan Korniş killed the 13-year-old Armağan Kayadipli by strangling him after he raped him in the İkiçeşmelik quarter of Kemeraltı district in Izmir. He was placed in a mental hospital in Bakırköy, Istanbul, and was released following about one-year long psychiatric treatment. He changed his surname from Korniş to Kartal. Ayhan Aydan (1924, Ankara – 19 February 2009, Çeşme, Izmir) was a Turkish opera singer. In 1944, she graduated from Ankara State Conservatory Opera Department. She appeared in some small operas.
