Axel Kielland
Axel Zetlitz Kielland (14 February 1907 – 25 November 1963) was a Norwegian journalist, crime reporter, theatre critic and playwright. Personal life Kielland was born in Stavanger to writer Jens Zetlitz Kielland (1873–1926) and Anna Gunhilde Holst, and was a grandson of writer Alexander Kielland. He was married to actress Sonja Mjøen from 1932 to 1946, and to Agni Krein from 1947. Career Kielland worked for the newspaper ''Dagbladet'' from 1927. Among his plays was ''Hvis et folk vil leve'' from 1943, on the German occupation of Norway. The play was prohibited by the Swedish government after German protests. Sonja Mjøen
Sonja Mjøen (25 December 1898 – 25 February 1993) was a Norwegian actress, journalist and author. Biography She was born in Christiania (now Oslo), Norway. She was the daughter of Claire Grevérus Mjøen (1874–1963) and Jon Alfred Mjøen (1860–1939). She was a sister of Fridtjof Mjøen and Jon Lennart Mjøen. From 1932 to 1946, she was married to journalist Axel Kielland who was a writer and journalist in ''Dagbladet''. She made her stage debut at Trondhjems nationale Scene in 1924, in Hjalmar Christensen's play ''Din egen herre''. Her film debut was in 1927. In 1942, she escaped with her family from German-occupied Norway to Stockholm and did income-generating work for ''Svenska Norgehjälpen''. Arne Skouen
Arne Skouen (18 October 1913 – 24 May 2003) was a Norwegian journalist, author, film director and film producer. Biography Arne Skouen was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. His parents were Peder Nikolai Skouen (1883-1978) and Jenny Emanuelson (1883-1975). He graduated at Hegdehaugen School in 1933. He had three distinct career careers: journalist, author and filmmaker, partly at the same time. He was a journalist at ''Dagbladet'' from 1935 to 1941. From 1941 during World War II, Skouen was associated with the Norwegian Resistance Movement during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany. From 1943 to 1945, Skouen worked at the press office in Stockholm, London, and New York City. After the liberation of Norway at the end of World War II, he returned to ''Dagbladet'' as a columnist, serving from 1946 to 1947. He then worked at ''Verdens Gang'' from 1947 to 1957. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality.
