Avengers A.I.
Avengers A.I. was an ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics that was released in July 2013, as part of the company's Marvel NOW! initiative. The series takes place after the events of Age of Ultron, where the world has been colonized by A.I.s "who may or may not have positive feelings about the way humanity has been treating them for the past 100 years." The series ended in April 2014. Publication history Marvel Comics announced ''Avengers A.I.'' by the creative team of Sam Humphries and Andre Lima Araujo in March 2013. Humphries has confirmed that Hank Pym and Vision will lead a team consisting of Victor Mancha, a Doombot and a debuting character, Alexis The Protector, with Monica Chang featured as a liaison to the team. The second arc, which began in issue #8, explored the origin of Alexis and added Captain America and Rogue to the team. The series was canceled after 12 issues. Sam Humphries
Sam Humphries (born March 16, 1977) is an American comic book writer located in Los Angeles. Between 2018 and 2020, he co-hosted ''DC Daily'' on the DC Universe streaming platform. Early life Humphries was born in Annapolis, Maryland and grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Career Humphries began his career in the early 2000s as a Consulting Editor for Gutsoon! Entertainment and, as part of his duties to "monitor the chatter" around the American comic book industry, joined the Warren Ellis Forum where he got acquainted with several professional and aspiring comic book creators. After the dissolution of Gutsoon!, Humphries went on to work at MySpace, where he developed several projects including the network's comics section and its most popular feature, '' MySpace Dark Horse Presents'', the digital revival of Dark Horse's signature anthology series that had been canceled several years prior. "Infinity" is a 2013 comic book crossover storyline that was published by Marvel Comics. Written by Jonathan Hickman with artwork by a rotating team of artists including Jim Cheung, Jerome Opeña, and Dustin Weaver, the series debuted in August 2013 and ran through November 2013. The storyline concerns issues built up in multiple Marvel comic books as part of the Marvel NOW! initiative, primarily ''Avengers'' and '' New Avengers''. These issues include a threat to the universe by an ancient race of aliens known as the Builders. The second is the mysterious ailments plaguing the universe with Earth at the center. The third is the political ramifications these events have on Earth's relationship to the rest of the galactic community. Sentinel (comics)
The Sentinels are a fictional variety of Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutant-hunting robots appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are typically depicted as antagonists to the X-Men. The Sentinels played a large role in the 1990s X-Men: The Animated Series, ''X-Men'' animated series and have been featured in several X-Men video games.
