	Ave Maria (album) ''Ave Maria'' is the fifth studio album by Polish singer Maria Peszek, released in 2021 by Mystic Production. Peszek co-wrote and co-produced the material with Kamil Pater. Thematically, the album criticises Poland's conservative politics and child sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, and expresses support towards women's rights and the Polish LGBT community. Peszek described it as "probably the most beautiful album he hasever recorded". ''Ave Maria'' received generally positive reviews and debuted atop the Polish album sales chart. 	Maria Peszek Maria Teresa Peszek (born September 9, 1973) is a Polish singer, songwriter and actress. She embarked on a professional acting career in the early 1990s and went on to appear in over 40 stage plays, as well as a number of feature films and television series. In 2005, Peszek released her debut album, the commercially successful and critically acclaimed ''Miasto mania'', followed by ''Maria Awaria'' (2008) and ''Jezus Maria Peszek'' (2012) which both topped the Polish albums chart and received favourable reviews. Peszek is noted for controversial lyrics and subjects of her work, often revolving around sexuality, politics, social norms and religion. 	Mystic Production Mystic Production is one of the largest Polish independent record labels. It was founded by Barbara Mikuła in 1995 in Skała near Cracow. 	Karabin ''Karabin'' is the fourth studio album by Polish singer Maria Peszek, released in 2016 by Warner Music Poland. The singer co-wrote and co-produced the material with Michał "Fox" Król. The album explored such topics as freedom, individualism and hate speech. Although it did not match the critical success of its predecessors, having met with mixed reviews, it went gold in Poland in just over a month and eventually was certified platinum.
