Autódromo Oscar Cabalén is a motorsports circuit located in Alta Gracia, Córdoba, Argentina. It has hosted events in the TC2000, Turismo Nacional and Formula Nacional Argentina series. The circuit is named in honour of racing driver, Oscar Cabalén (1928–1967). Alta Gracia
Alta Gracia is a city located in the north-centre of the province of Córdoba, Argentina. Its name means "High Grace". It is built upon the ''Sierras Chicas'', in a region that the Comechingón Indians used to call ''Paravachasca''. It has about 43,000 inhabitants (). History In the 17th century, Alta Gracia was a large ranch (an ''estancia'') operated by Jesuits. It had been first owned in 1588 by Don Juan Nieto who began the colonization of the area. Under the terms of his '' encomienda'', Nieto began promoting the building of houses, ranches and stone pens. Oscar Cabalén
Oscar Cabalén (February 4, 1928 – August 25, 1967), was an Argentine racing driver, mainly active in the Turismo Carretera series. He also took part in the Carrera Panamericana and the Mille Miglia, and was a reserve driver for the Formula One 1960 Argentine Grand Prix, Argentine Grand Prix in 1960. Career Nicknamed "El Turco", Cabalén bought an HRD Motorcycles, HRD motorcycle in 1948. Fifteen days later he won a race in Bell Ville. He competed in four further races before crashing in Calvez and fracturing his tibia and fibula, which took six months to heal. On doctors' advice, he abandoned motorcycle racing and worked for a time at his brothers' lorry company. Switching to four wheels, he made his debut in Turismo Carretera on July 1, 1950. In 1953 Carrera Panamericana, 1953, he and his co-driver Guillermo Ibanda participated in the Carrera Panamericana where he finished 36th, third in the "Turismo Especial" class. Timothy Theodore Schenken (born 26 September 1943) is a former racing driver from Sydney, Australia. He participated in 36 Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 16 August 1970. He achieved one career podium at the 1971 Austrian Grand Prix, and scored a total of seven championship points. He did however have two non-championship race podiums – he finished third in the 1971 BRDC International Trophy and third in the 1972 International Gold Cup. The Ford Focus (third generation), also known as the Focus Mk III, (Code name: C346) debuted at the 2010 North American International Auto Show as a 2012 model. The cars shown were a 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback, also debuting a new 2.0-litre direct injection I4 engine. A 5-door estate (wagon) was previewed at the Geneva auto show a month later.
