Autonomy Liberty Democracy
Autonomy Liberty Democracy (''Autonomie Liberté Démocratie'', ALD) was a centre-left coalition in Aosta Valley, Italy. It took part to three Italian general elections and elected representatives in both houses of the Italian Parliament. History ALD was originally formed as an electoral list, affiliated to The Union, for the 2006 general election comprising: the Democrats of the Left (DS), The Daisy (DL), Valdostan Renewal (RV), Vallée d'Aoste Vive (VdAV), Alé Vallée (AV), the Communist Refoundation Party (PRC), the Federation of the Greens (Alternative Greens) and other minor parties. In that occasion, ALD elected a deputy, Roberto Nicco (DS), and a senator, Carlo Perrin (RV), defeating Marco Viérin ( SA, VdA) 43.4% to 30.7% and incumbent senator Augusto Rollandin ( UV, VdA) 44.2% to 32.0%, respectively. Rainbow Aosta Valley
The Rainbow Aosta Valley (''Arcobaleno Valle d'Aosta'', AVdA) was an Italian coalition of parties active in Aosta Valley. Launched in 2003, the coalition was composed of the Federation of the Greens (whose local section, the Alternative Greens, AVdA, was particularly strong in the Region), the Communist Refoundation Party, the Party of Italian Communists, Democratic Left and some local far-left groups. Antonio Fosson (born 11 October 1951) is an Italian politician. Antonio was elected president of Aosta Valley from 10 December 2018 to 16 December 2019. Antonio is a member of the Pour Notre Vallée Party. Biography Antonio was born in Ivrea, Italy. But he was elected senator in 2008 from ayes. Valdostan Union
The Valdostan Union (french: Union valdôtaine, UV), also Valdostian Union or Valdotanian Union is a regionalist and centrist political party in Aosta Valley, Italy. It represents mainly the Arpitan-speaking minority in the region. Former leader Erik Lavévaz has been the President of Aosta Valley since October 2020. The UV has been steadily represented in the Italian Parliament since 1976 and, due to the disappearance of the Christian Democracy party in the early 1990s, it has become the catch-all party of the region, similarly to the South Tyrolean People's Party in South Tyrol. Augusto Rollandin
Augusto Arduino Rollandin (born 13 June 1949 in Brusson, Aosta Valley, Italy) is an Italian politician and veterinarian. He is a member of the Valdostan Union, a center-right, pro-autonomy Italian political party active in the Aosta Valley. Career From 4 January 1984 to 25 June 1990, and again from 1 July 2008 to 10 March 2017, Rollandin served as the President of Aosta Valley. In July 2013, Rollandin was re-elected to the presidency by a coalition of center-right, pro-autonomy parties consisting of the Valdostan Union (UV) and the Edelweiss (SA).
