Vallée D'Aoste Vive
Vallée d'Aoste Vive (translatable as ''Aosta Valley Alive'', VdAV) was a social-liberal Italian political party active in the Aosta Valley. It was founded on 4 December 2005 by a left-wing split from the Valdostan Union and its leader was Roberto Louvin. For the 2006 general election, the Lively Aosta Valley took part to the Autonomy Liberty Democracy (ALD) coalition, alongside the Democrats of the Left, The Daisy, Valdostan Renewal, the Communist Refoundation Party, the Federation of the Greens and other minor parties. In the 2008 regional election the party formed a joint list with Valdostan Renewal: the list won 12.5% of the vote and 5 regional deputies (out of 35), of which 2 of VdAV. The centre-right coalition ( it, coalizione di centro-destra) is an alliance of political parties in Italy, active—under several forms and names—since 1994, when Silvio Berlusconi entered politics and formed his Forza Italia party. Despite its name, the alliance mostly falls on the right-wing of the political spectrum. In the 1994 general election, under the leadership of Berlusconi, the centre-right ran with two coalitions, the Pole of Freedoms in northern Italy and Tuscany (mainly Forza Italia and the Northern League) and the Pole of Good Government (mainly Forza Italia and National Alliance) in central and southern Italy. The People of Freedom ( it, Il Popolo della Libertà, PdL) was a centre-right political party in Italy. Alternative Greens
The Alternative Greens (''Verdi Alternativi'') was a green political party in Aosta Valley, which used to be the regional section of the Federation of the Greens. Its main leaders were Elio Riccarand, founder and coordinator until 2008, and Paolo Fedi, coordinator from 2008 to 2010. Riccarand, who had been elected with the "New Left" list in the 1988 regional election, switched his affiliation to "Alternative Green" in 1990. In the 1993 regional election the party won 7.2% of the vote and three regional councillors, including Riccarand, who served as regional minister of the Environment for five years. The Rainbow Aosta Valley (''Arcobaleno Valle d'Aosta'', AVdA) was an Italian coalition of parties active in Aosta Valley. Launched in 2003, the coalition was composed of the Federation of the Greens (whose local section, the Alternative Greens, AVdA, was particularly strong in the Region), the Communist Refoundation Party, the Party of Italian Communists, Democratic Left and some local far-left groups. Valdostan Renewal (french: Renouveau Valdôtain, RV) was a social-liberal Italian political party active in the Aosta Valley. It was founded in 2006 by a split from the Valdostan Union (UV), led by former President of Region Carlo Perrin. These dissidents wanted closer ties with the Italian centre-left parties of The Union. In the 2006 general election, RV was affiliated to the Autonomy Liberty Democracy (ALD) coalition, composed of the Democrats of the Left, The Daisy, Alé Vallée, Vallée d'Aoste Vive, the Communist Refoundation Party, the Federation of the Greens and other minor parties. Augusto Rollandin
Augusto Arduino Rollandin (born 13 June 1949 in Brusson, Aosta Valley, Italy) is an Italian politician and veterinarian. He is a member of the Valdostan Union, a center-right, pro-autonomy Italian political party active in the Aosta Valley. Career From 4 January 1984 to 25 June 1990, and again from 1 July 2008 to 10 March 2017, Rollandin served as the President of Aosta Valley. In July 2013, Rollandin was re-elected to the presidency by a coalition of center-right, pro-autonomy parties consisting of the Valdostan Union (UV) and the Edelweiss (SA). The coalition government, led by the Valdostan Union, lost 14 percentage points in the May 2013 Aosta Valley regional election, a decline from the 2008 election results, but still retained an absolute majority in the Council of the Valley. Autonomy Liberty Democracy (''Autonomie Liberté Démocratie'', ALD) was a centre-left coalition in Aosta Valley, Italy. It took part to three Italian general elections and elected representatives in both houses of the Italian Parliament. History ALD was originally formed as an electoral list, affiliated to The Union, for the 2006 general election comprising: the Democrats of the Left (DS), The Daisy (DL), Valdostan Renewal (RV), Vallée d'Aoste Vive (VdAV), Alé Vallée (AV), the Communist Refoundation Party (PRC), the Federation of the Greens (Alternative Greens) and other minor parties. Autonomist Federation
The Autonomist Federation (french: Fédération Autonomiste, FA) was a regionalist, centrist, Italian political party active in Aosta Valley. Social-liberal and social-democratic, the party's ideology lately tilted toward Christian democracy. The party's last leader was Claudio Lavoyer, a long-time regional councillor and former regional minister.
