Aurul Brad
Clubul Sportiv Armata Aurul Brad, commonly known as CSA Aurul Brad, or simply as Aurul Brad, is a Romanian amateur football club based in Brad, Hunedoara County, founded in 1934. The club is currently playing in the Liga IV. History Aurul Brad was founded in 1934, under the name of ''Mica Brad''. Throughout its over 85 years of history, the club was also known as ''Metalul Brad'' or ''Progresul Brad''. In the 1940–41 season, Aurul Brad played in the Divizia A, the first tier of the Romanian football league system. This was a notable achievement for a small town like Brad and the team was also able to finish in 5th, out of 13. That was the last season before World War II. After WWII, Aurul never managed to play again in the first league, despite it was never relegated. Țara Moților
Țara Moților (german: Motzenland), also known as ''Țara de Piatră'' ("The Stone Land") is an ethnogeographical region of Romania in the Apuseni Mountains, on the upper basin of the Arieș and Crișul Alb River rivers. It covers parts of the Alba, Arad, Bihor, Cluj, and Hunedoara counties of Romania and a section of it forms the Apuseni Natural Park. Țara Moților's inhabitants are known as "''moți''" (german: Motzen, hu, mócok). Some scholars consider the 'moți' as descendants of the Celts, because of their blonde hair and blue eyes, elements more frequent here than among other Romanians; however, the hypothesis is not accepted by mainstream historians due to its lack of consistency. Other scholars believe that they are the descendants of Slavs, for the same very reasons, or of the Alans. Yet another group of scholars consider them the descendants of Germanic tribes (the Gepids). 2017–18 Liga IV
The 2017–18 Liga IV was the 76th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a playoff to gain promotion. 2019–20 Liga IV Hunedoara
The 2019–20 Liga IV Hunedoara was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Hunedoara, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 17 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania. The season was ended officially on 14 July 2020 after AJF Hunedoara (County Football Association) concluding that the teams could not meet the medical conditions for matches at this level. Jiul Petroșani was crowned as county champion. Competition format The 12 teams will play a regular season, followed by a play-off and play-out. The regular season is a double round-robin tournament. At the end of the regular season, the first six teams will play a championship play-off and the last five teams will play a relegation play-out. 2022–23 Liga III
The 2022–23 Liga III will be the 67th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season will begin in August 2022 and is scheduled to end in June 2023. This season is the third consecutive with a format that will include 100 teams (10x10). The format was changed two seasons ago, due to the financial problems generated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
