Augustino De Cazalla
Augustino de Cazalla (1510-1559), or Dr. Agustín Cazalla, was a Spanish clergyman, with humanist and Erasmist tendencies, who was prosecuted for founding a Protestant sect in Valladolid. The son of a royal accountant, Pedro de Cazalla, and Leonor de Vibero (or Vivero) - both were of 'converso' families - the nephew of Bishop Juan de Cazalla and the brother of María de Cazalla (of the group of illuminati in Guadalajara in 1525), he studied at the University of Valladolid with Bartolomé Carranza (who was also tried by the Spanish Inquisition) and at the University of Alcalá de Henares, where his uncle Juan was the former chaplain to Cardinal Cisneros and was also a renowned humanist and Erasmist. His classmate in Alcalá, Diego Laínez, was a founding member of the Society of Jesus. Augustino was a canon in the cathedral of Salamanca and became chaplain to the Emperor Charles V, accompanying him throughout Europe. Augustino Jadalla Wani (born 26 June 1963); born Augustino Jada Wani, is a South Sudanese politician who served as the deputy minister of interior and wildlife conservation (2013–2015) and later as the governor of the now defunct Jubek State.(2015–2020) He was appointed and served as the governor of Jubek State, South Sudan, on 24 December 2015. He was the first and only governor of the state, which was created by President Salva Kiir on 2 October 2015. Augustino Mrema
Augustino Lyatonga Mrema (31 December 1944 – 21 August 2022) was a Tanzanian politician, who served as minister of home affairs from 1990 to 1995. After switching party affiliation in February 1995, he joined NCCR-Mageuzi before moving on to Tanzania Labour Party (TLP), where he was made the party chairman. He also served as the member of parliament for Vunjo constituency, on multiple occasions, until 2015, when he was defeated in the national election by James Mbatia of NCCR Mageuzi. In early 2016, Mrema was appointed a chairperson of the Tanzania Parole Board by the president, John Magufuli. Mrema was a member of the Chaga tribe from Kiraracha village, near Mount Kilimanjaro. Augustino Oldoini (6 January 1612 – 23 March 1683, at Perugia) was an Italian Jesuit teacher, church historian and bibliographer. He came from La Spezia, and entered the Society of Jesus on 4 February 1628. At the end of his novitiate he made the usual study of the humanities, philosophy and theology. For some time he taught classics at Perugia, and was then professor of moral philosophy in the theological school. Writings His first work, "Alcune difficoltà principali della grammatica" (Ancona, 1637), dealing with Latin grammar, was written while he was engaged in teaching the humanities. Augustino Steven Lawrence Ramadhani (28 December 1945 – 28 April 2020) was a Tanzanian jurist and Christian leader. He was Chief Justice of Tanzania from 2007 to 2010, and a Judge of the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights from 2010 to 2016.
