August Friedrich Oelenhainz
August Friedrich Oelenhainz (June 28, 1745 – November 5, 1804) was a German painter. Oelenhainz's father was a preacher. He studied under his uncle Wolfgang Dietrich Mayr in Tübingen, and then later at the art school in Stuttgart with the Württemberg court painter Johann Wilhelm Beyer. In 1766 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Oelenhainz moved to Vienna, where in the imperial court he rapidly became a popular painter. He primarily painted portraits. Johann Wilhelm Beyer
Johann Wilhelm Beyer (27 December 1725 in Gotha, † 23 March 1796 in Hietzing), a German sculptor, porcelain artist, painter and garden designer. Beyer has the largest share in the design of the gardens and statues of Schönbrunn Palace, which is regarded as his masterpiece. Youth and studies Beyer was trained as a garden-engineer early on by his father Johann Nicholas Beyer, who was a gardener in the service of Charles Eugene, Duke of Württemberg. Between 1748 and 1751, Beyer traveled to Paris where he studied architecture and painting. Later he went to Rome where he tried the study of painting, but turned to sculpture after he participated in excavations of ancient statues. History The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna was founded in 1692 as a private academy modelled on the Accademia di San Luca and the Parisien Académie de peinture et de sculpture by the court-painter Peter Strudel, who became the ''Praefectus Academiae Nostrae''. Susanna Hirzel, known as Susette (1769–1858) was a Swiss painter. Born in Zürich, Hirzel was the niece of painter Heinrich Hirzel, and studied briefly with August Friedrich Oelenhainz and a member of the Füssli family; she was, however, mainly self-taught. She married Ratsherr Hans Conrad Ott in 1801. Her brother Caspar was a soldier in the service of France, active as an amateur artist as well.
