Aud Wilken
Aud Saskia Wilken (born 1965 in East Berlin) is a Danish-German singer, best known for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995. Early life and career Wilken was born to a Danish father and German mother, and lived in East Germany until 1974, when the family moved to Denmark. Her musical debut came in 1988, on the album ''Midnight at the Grooveyard'' by post-punk band The Overlords. She then appeared on The Poets' self-titled album in 1990. In the same year of 1990 she took part in the recording of the song "I Love You Love Me Love" as featuring artist for Danish musician Master Fatman. This song was written by Aud along with Morten Lindberg. Eurovision Song Contest In 1995, Aud participated at Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. Darja Švajger (born 16 June 1965 in Maribor, SR Slovenia, SFR Yugoslavia) is one of Slovenia's most popular singers, perhaps best known internationally for having represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest on two occasions. Denmark was represented by rapper Kølig Kaj, with the song "Stemmen i mit liv", at the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 3 May in Dublin. "Stemmen i mit liv" was chosen as the Danish entry at the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix on 1 March. "Under stjernerne på himlen" (; "Under the stars of the sky") was the entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1993, performed in Danish by the Tommy Seebach Band. Seebach wrote the song as a lullaby to his daughter, and his family encouraged him to suggest it as a finalist for the Danish final in 1993, where it won. At the Eurovision Song Contest, the song was performed fifth on the night, following 's Annie Cotton with "Moi, tout simplement" and preceding 's Katerina Garbi with " Ellada, Hora Tou Fotos". At the close of voting, it had received 9 points, placing 22nd in a field of 25. Tommy Seebach (14 September 1949 – 31 March 2003), born Tommy Seebach Mortensen in Copenhagen, Denmark, was a popular Danish singer, composer, organist, pianist and producer. Denmark participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Drama Queen" written by Peter Andersen, Simon Munk and Claus Christensen. The song was performed by DQ, which is the artistic name of singer and drag queen Peter Andersen. The Danish broadcaster DR organised the national final ''Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2007'' in order to select the Danish entry for the 2007 contest in Helsinki, Finland. The national selection consisted of two televised semi-finals, a radio wildcard selection and a televised final. In the final, the winner was selected by regional televoting.
