Martine Louise Marie Aubry (; née Delors; born 8 August 1950) is a French politician. She was the First Secretary of the French Socialist Party (''Parti Socialiste'', or PS) from November 2008 to April 2012, and has been the Mayor (France), Mayor of Lille (Nord) since March 2001; she is also the first female to hold this position. Her father, Jacques Delors, served as Minister of Finance under President François Mitterrand and was also President of the European Commission. Charles-Philippe Aubry or Aubri (died February 17, 1770) was a French soldier and colonial administrator, who served as governor of Louisiana twice in the 18th century. Career Aubry began his military career in 1742, when he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Lyonnais Infantry Regiment. After serving in the War of the Austrian Succession as an officer of grenadiers, Aubry left France to take a commission as a captain of colonial troops in Louisiana. During the French and Indian War, he was the commander of the French forces at the Battle of Fort Ligonier. He was later captured and imprisoned by the British after the French defeat at the Battle of La Belle-Famille. Serge Dieudonne Aubry (January 2, 1942 – October 30, 2011) was a professional ice hockey goaltender who played 142 games in the World Hockey Association and an NHL coach. Aubry was born in Montreal, Quebec. He played with the Quebec Nordiques and Cincinnati Stingers. During a five-season career, Aubry posted a record of 65-53-5, with five shutouts.
