Atrium Carceri is a Swedish musical project by Simon Heath, initially released by industrial record label Cold Meat Industry. Fourteen full-length albums have been released so far, as well as fourteen collaboration albums together with other artists of the genre. In 2011 Atrium Carceri left Cold Meat Industry and started the Dark Ambient label Cryo Chamber. Simon Heath also released eleven albums under the name of his side project Sabled Sun. Style and themes Atrium Carceri is typically described as dark ambient, black ambient and ambient industrial music. Similar to projects like Lull and Lustmord, Atrium Carceri uses synthesizers, sound effects, samples from films and anime, piano and other instrumentation to create slow rhythms, bitter melodies and complex textures generally based on themes of desolation, loneliness (solitary confinement) and environmental decay. ''Souyuan'' is the fifth album by Swedish dark ambient project Atrium Carceri. It was released on November 18, 2008 through Cold Meat Industry Reviews "Though this album has the Carceri sound written all over it, it’s also a bit different. There is a fair share of rhythmic structures to be found, which isn’t strange with his work, but somehow it feels different. The sounds are more experimental and subliminal, with an occasional IDM-like approach. And it also has a more industrial feel than the other releases. The total atmosphere is like being in a disturbing asylum, like ‘Seishinbyouin’. In Mandaeism, Ptahil ( myz, ࡐࡕࡀࡄࡉࡋ) also known as Ptahil-Uthra (uthra = angel or guardian), is the Fourth Life, the third of three emanations from the First Life, Hayyi Rabbi, after Yushamin and Abatur. Solitary confinement is a form of imprisonment in which the inmate lives in a single cell with little or no meaningful contact with other people. A prison may enforce stricter measures to control contraband on a solitary prisoner and use additional security equipment in comparison to the general population.
