Atom Smash
Atom Smash is a Miami, Florida-based hard rock band consisting of Serg Gabriel Sanchez (vocals), Mark "Taco" Annino (drums), Luke "Cowboy" Rice (guitar, vocals) and "Crazy" Dave Carrey (bass) Formerly signed to Jive Records. History The group formed in 2006 by Serg Gabriel Sanchez and Producer Paul Trust. Paul Trust introduced Serg to Dr. Bill Ray owner of Panacea Records. Dr. Bill began to help develop the group. Guitarist Alex Zilinski of Austria Europe joined the band later that year. Bassist Arnold Nese jumped on board in 2007. The band wrote and recorded music which was then presented to Dirk Hemsath owner of Doghouse Records and The Working Group Artist Management. Hemsath began to manage the group in 2008. That same year drummer Mark Annino who would later be nicknamed "Taco" joined the band. Filter (band)
Filter is an American rock music, rock band formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio, by singer Richard Patrick and guitarist and programmer Brian Liesegang. The band was formed when Patrick desired to start his own band after leaving Nine Inch Nails as their touring guitarist. Their debut album ''Short Bus (album), Short Bus'' was released in 1995 and ended up going platinum, largely due to the success of the single "Hey Man Nice Shot". After the album, the band would go through the first of many lineup changes, leaving Patrick as the only consistent member across all releases. After Liesegang's departure in 1997, Patrick recorded a follow up album with the ''Short Bus'' Title of Record#Personnel, touring band members, who became full-time members thereafter. The group was founded in 1998 by Todd Whitener, Jesse Vest and Matt Taul after they left Days of the New, and joined forces with vocalist Hugo Ferreira. Cavo is an American hard rock band from St. Louis, Missouri. Because of their sound and musical influences, they are sometimes classified as post-grunge. Band history In late 2000, guitarist Chris Hobbs, bassist Ryan Kemp, and drummer Chad La Roy were searching for a vocalist for their band. With input from close friends Scott Gertken and Rich Criebaum of Modern Day Zero, the three auditioned then-unknown singer Casey Walker. By March 2001, Walker joined the band, and they adopted the name "Hollow". Soon after, Mike "Tomas" Tomasovich joined Hollow as a second guitarist. In 2001, Hollow released a three-song demo with the songs "Fallen", "State of Mind" and "Unsung". Near the end of 2001, the band changed their name to Cavo, which is the word "hollow" in Italian.
