Atlantic Records UK
Atlantic Records Group LLC is an umbrella label owned by Warner Music Group. It oversees several labels assigned to its Atlantic Records unit. In total, the label group has nearly three hundred artists on its roster. History In 2004, Time Warner sold Warner Music to a group of private investors. As a cost-cutting maneuver, the new owners of Warner Music Group merged Atlantic Records with its sister, Elektra Records, to form The Atlantic Records Group. Upon the merger, Elektra became largely dormant, with most of its retained roster absorbed by Atlantic. In the years to follow, Atlantic Records Group would add a host of other labels to its umbrella, including: Roadrunner Records, Fueled by Ramen, Custard Records and Maybach Music Group. Elektra was reactivated as a brand of Atlantic Records Group in 2009. Blockberry Creative (Hangul: 블록베리크리에이티브) is a South Korean record label formed in 2016. It is a subsidiary of Polaris Entertainment. The label is home to the girl group Loona and soloist Sunye. History Blockberry Creative was officially established on March 22, 2016, as a subsidiary label of Polaris Entertainment. On October 2, 2016, Blockberry Creative launched their first girl group project, Loona (; lit ''Girl of the Month''), which was expected to run for 18 months. A&E Records is a United Kingdom-based record label imprint, owned by Warner Music Group (WMG). It operates under the WEA International group of labels at WMG. A&E Records was formalised in May 2003, when the NewsCorp Music Group of independent record labels (comprising Mushroom Records UK, Infectious Records, Ultimate Dilemma, Perfecto and 48K) were absorbed into WMG's East West after 20 months of negotiations, with all of its roster transferring over. Max Lousada
Max Lousada is CEO of Recorded Music for Warner Music Group. He has signed and worked with a number of artists, including Ed Sheeran. Early career Upon leaving university, Lousada started his own distribution company called In A Silent Way, which imported and exported records for DJs and independent outlets. He then headed-up the New York hip-hop record label Rawkus Records, working alongside the founders to develop and grow the A&R roster.
