Athletics At The 2018 Commonwealth Games – Men's 110 Metres Hurdles
The men's 110 metres hurdles at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, as part of the athletics programme, took place in the Carrara Stadium on 9 and 10 April 2018. Ronald Levy's victory was his first international podium finish, as he held off his more decorated compatriot Hansle Parchment to succeed Andrew Riley (another Jamaica) as the Commonwealth Games champion. Andrew Pozzi – 2018 world indoor champion and the fastest qualifier in the first round – struggled after striking the first hurdle in the final and finished sixth. Carrara Stadium
Carrara Stadium (known commercially as Metricon Stadium) is a stadium on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, located in the suburb of Carrara. David King (born 13 June 1994) is an English Olympic athlete specialising in the high hurdles. He is a three times British champion over 110m hurdles and three times British champion over 60m hurdles. He represented Team GB at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics (held in 2021) and made the semi-finals, finishing 19th overall. At the 2023 British Indoor Athletics Championships he took the title of 2023 UK national champion over 60m indoor hurdles.
