Athas Hrysoulakis
Athas Hrysoulakis (born 5 January 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood in the Victorian/Australian Football League (VFL/AFL). Hrysoulakis, a Lalor recruit, played his first league season in 1987, when he put together nine games. He did not play senior VFL football in 1988 but the following year played the best football of his career late in the season. Playing as a forward, Hrysoulakis kicked five goals against the Sydney Swans at Victoria Park in round 18 and after some more good games kept his spot in the side for the elimination final. Collingwood lost the final to Melbourne, but Hrysoulakis was solid with 22 disposals and a goal. Having been able to play only two more games in 1990, a premiership year for Collingwood, Hrysoulakis joined Victorian Football Association club Prahran. The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers, is an Australian rules football team playing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Between its inception in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond in 1885 and 1907, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning two premierships. Richmond joined the Victorian Football League (now known as the AFL) in 1908 and has since won 13 premierships, most recently in 2020. Prahran (), also pronounced colloquially as Pran, is an inner suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 5 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Stonnington local government area. Prahran Assumption Football Club (), nicknamed The Two Blues, is an Australian rules football club based at Toorak Park in Orrong Road between High Street and Malvern Road, Armadale, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The club is currently in Division 1 of the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA). The Northern Football Netball League (formerly known as the Diamond Valley Football League and later Northern Football League) is an Australian sports league based in the Diamond Valley region of suburban Melbourne, Victoria. The league regulates competitions of both sports, Australian rules football and netball in the region.
