Atanasio Pardo
Atanasio Pardo Vega (6 April 1900 – 30 July 1994) was a Chilean football manager and player who played as a Forward (association football), left winger, considered the first Chilean footballer who emigrated to Europe holding a contract and played in Spain. Playing career As a youth players, Pardo and David Arellano, one of the founders of Colo-Colo, were members of Asociación Escolar, a team made up by select students. They also coincided after in Deportes Magallanes, Magallanes Atlético. Pardo played for both Magallanes Atlético and Unión Española, Ibérico Balompié, later Unión Deportiva Española, before emigrating to Spain by suggestion of his fellow footballer Juan Legarreta. He joined Málaga CF, Real Málaga in the Campeonato Regional Sur in 1925, playing for several seasons for the club, in an age where it was changing his name to Málaga FC, FC Malagueño and Málaga Sport Club. Valparaíso (; ) is a major city, seaport, naval base, and educational centre in the commune of Valparaíso, Chile. "Greater Valparaíso" is the second largest metropolitan area in the country. The Asociación de Fútbol de Santiago (also known as AFS) was the first organization in Chile to organize football tournament. It was formed in 1903 and organized non-professional football in Santiago. Later on, it was the organization responsible for holding the national professional football league in Chile. Buin is a city and commune of Chile, in the Maipo Province, Metropolitan Region of Santiago, which forms part of Greater Santiago. It is a city composed of the towns of Maipo, Viluco, Linderos, Valdivia de Paine, Alto Jahuel, Los Guindos and El Recurso. Buin is located about south of Santiago in the Maipo Valley wine region.
