''Asylum of the Human Predator'' is Hell Within's first studio album. The first single off the album was "Bleeding Me Black". An accompanying music video was produced by Ian McFarland of Killswitch Productions. The video features the band playing in a warehouse, interspersed with shots of a young man who discovers his girlfriend is cheating on him. At the end of the video, the young man ties up his girlfriend's new boyfriend, and lights him on fire. On July 22, 2005, the opening track from ''Asylum of the Human Predator,'' "Godspeed to Your Deathbed", reached #1 on the Comcast Music Choice network, beating out such bands as Nevermore, As I Lay Dying and A Life Once Lost A Life Once Lost was an American metal band based in Pennsylvania. Hell Within
Hell Within was an American metalcore band formed in Lowell, Massachusetts, in 1998. After recording two albums as Twytch, the band changed their name to Hell Within and released ''Asylum of the Human Predator'' through Lifeforce Records in 2005. After extensive touring across the United States and lineup changes, the band released '' Shadows of Vanity'' in 2007. Hell Within released ''God Grant Me Vengeance'' in 2010 and was previously signed to Thorp Records. They disbanded in 2011 and reunited for a one-off show in 2015. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Lifeforce Records is a German heavy metal independent record label that specializes in metalcore and death metal. Their roster contains bands such as Confession, This or the Apocalypse, Omnium Gatherum and Last Leaf Down, and they have helped to launch the careers of bands who went on to larger labels, such as Heaven Shall Burn, Between the Buried and Me, Caliban and Trivium. While Lifeforce has signed and continues to sign both European and American artists, they announced in October 2002 that they were going to shift focus away from the latter market following the breakup of Endthisday and Beyond the Sixth Seal, as well as Between the Buried and Me's (who were at the time one of their most successful bands) move from the label to Victory Records. Ian McFarland is an American musician, director, and producer of music videos. He was a bassist for the hardcore punk group Blood for Blood from 1997 to 2004, and then turned to film making as a career. He produced and directed Meshuggah's 2010 concert film ''Alive (Meshuggah video), Alive'', and the music video for Killswitch Engage's Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance, Grammy-nominated 2013 song In Due Time (song), In Due Time". Nevermore
Nevermore was an American heavy metal band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1991. The band has been inactive since 2011, due to personal issues between the band members. In April 2015, lead singer Warrel Dane confirmed that Nevermore had not disbanded, and there was a possibility for them to continue in the next two years with another album. However, Dane died in December 2017, ending hopes of a reunion.
