''Asuran'' () is a 1995 Tamil language horror film, with cinematography and direction by Velu Prabhakaran and written and produced by R. K. Selvamani. The film stars Arun Pandian and Roja, while Radharavi, Napoleon and Senthil play supporting roles. The film became a failure at the box office. Mansoor Ali Khan reprised his role of Veerabhadran from ''Captain Prabhakaran''. The film is an unsanctioned amalgamation of the various Hollywood films including ''Predator'' (1987). Velu Prabhakaran
Velu Prabakaran is an Indian filmmaker, cinematographer and actor. He is known for his themes highlighting atheism and revolutionary subjects in his films. Career Velu Prabakaran began as a cinematographer before making his directorial debut with the 1989 horror film ''Nalaya Manithan'', before also directing its sequel ''Adhisaya Manithan'' (1990). He then made two more consecutive action films under R. K. Selvamani's production in '' Asuran'' and '' Rajali'', with both becoming box office failures. He then worked on action films with lead characters, who often featured as a revolutionary, making '' Kadavul'' (1997), ''Sivan'' (1999) and '' Puratchikkaaran'' (2000). Panchaksharam Rangasamy Pillai (born 29 August 1943), known professionally as Vijayakumar, is an Indian actor who works in Tamil cinema. Pandu (19 February 1947 – 6 May 2021) was an Indian Tamil actor and graphic designer who appeared in many comedy roles in Tamil cinema. He made his acting debut in the film ''Maanavan'' (1970).
