Assam State Electricity Board Sports Club, simply A.S.E.B Sports Club or ASEB SC, is an Indian professional football club based in Guwahati, Assam. The club competes in GSA (Guwahati Sports Association) Super Division Football League, Bordoloi Trophy, A.T.P.A. Shield, Independence Day Cup, Bodousa Cup and other tournaments of Assam. History ASEB Sports Club was founded in 1975 to promote and encourage sports activities among its members. It has won most number of titles in the GSA Super Division Football League. Nehru Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Guwahati, Assam, India. It was built in 1962 and holds the capacity of 15,000 spectators. Radha Govinda Baruah supervised, constructed and named it as ''Nehru Stadium''. The stadium is operated by the Board of Sports of Assam, Government of Assam. Bodoland Martyrs Gold Cup is a association football, football league cup in the Bodoland Territorial Region, Assam, India, organised by Kokrajhar District Sports Association (KDSA) in memory of Bodoland martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the cause of Bodoland movement. The 21st edition of the tournament was won by United Chirang Duar FC, Runikatha by defeating Baarhoongkha Athletic Club, Kokrajhar 1–0 in the final, played at Banargaon Jaiklong Sports Club ground. ATPA Shield
The Assam Tea Planters' Association Shield, commonly known as the A.T.P.A. Shield, is an annual Indian association football tournament held in Jorhat, Assam and organised by Jorhat District Sports Association (JDSA). It is one of the esteemed and the third oldest football tournament of Assam after Independence Day Cup and Bordoloi Trophy. Since its inception in 1955, along with the best teams from northeast India many top clubs of the country like Mohammedan SC, Mohun Bagan AC (both from Kolkata) and Dempo SC (Goa) have also participated in this leading tournament.
