Asri Akbar (born 29 January 1984) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Liga 3 club Kartanegara. Club career On August 26, 2012, he signed with Persib Bandung. On October 26, 2013, he moved to Sriwijaya FC. Despite interest from other teams, he extended his contract and will play for Sriwijaya FC in the 2015 Indonesia Super League. Bugis People
The Bugis people (pronounced ), also known as Buginese, are an ethnicity—the most numerous of the three major linguistic and ethnic groups of South Sulawesi (the others being Makassar and Toraja), in the south-western province of Sulawesi, third-largest island of Indonesia. The Bugis in 1605 converted to Islam from Animism. The Piala Presiden (English: President's Cup) is an annual pre-season association football tournament held in Indonesia and organized by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). It is participated by Liga 1 clubs. The inaugural tournament was held in 2015 to fill the vacuum of the Indonesia Super League when Indonesia was suspended by FIFA for government interference. The 2018 Liga 1, also known as Go-Jek Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons, was the second season of Liga 1 under its current name and the ninth season of the top-flight Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. The season started on 23 March 2018 and ended on 9 December 2018. Fixtures for the 2018 season were announced on 10 March 2018. Bhayangkara were the defending champions. Persebaya, PSMS, and PSIS joined as the promoted teams from the 2017 Liga 2. They replaced Persegres, Persiba, and Semen Padang who were relegated to the 2018 Liga 2.
