Asociación Deportivo Cali, best known as Deportivo Cali, is a Colombian sports club based in Cali, most notable for its football team, which currently competes in the CategorÃa Primera A. Deportivo Cali is one of the most successful football teams in Colombia, having won ten domestic league championships, one Copa Colombia and one Superliga Colombiana, for a total of twelve titles. Their stadium, Estadio Deportivo Cali, with an original capacity of 61,890, is the largest football stadium in Colombia, but has recently seen reductions in capacity due to renovations. Deportivo Cali is the only Colombian football club that owns its own stadium, and the only club in Colombia to be owned by its fans. Estadio Deportivo Cali, also called Estadio de Palmaseca, is a association football, football stadium located in Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Palmira, Colombia. The stadium opened in 2010, and is the home of Deportivo Cali. Its original capacity was for 61,890 people, but it was reduced to 52,000 due to renovations. Since construction, it has been one of the largest stadiums of the country, although the installation of 12,000 seats in its western and eastern stands before the start of the 2018 CategorÃa Primera A season, 2018 season further reduced capacity to 42,000. Once Caldas S.A., simply known as Once Caldas, is a professional Colombian football team based in Manizales, that currently plays in the CategorÃa Primera A. They play their home games at the Palogrande stadium. They were the surprise winners of the Copa Libertadores in 2004. Miguel Alejandro Escobar (born 24 August 1995) is an Argentine footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for General Caballero JLM. The 1969 Campeonato Profesional was the 21st season of Colombia's top-flight football league. 14 teams competed against one another. Deportivo Cali won the Torneo Apertura, while Millonarios won the Torneo Clausura. Cali went on to win their third league title in the triangular final which was held in January 1970, while América de Cali earned the right to enter the 1970 Copa Libertadores instead of Millonarios. Hugo Horacio Lóndero, playing for América de Cali, was the topscorer with 24 goals.
