Asim Munir (general)
Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah HI(M) ( ur, عاصم منیر احمد ) is a Pakistani four-star rank general and current Chief of Army Staff, prior to become army chief he was posted in GHQ as the Quartermaster general. He commanded the XXX Corps (Pakistan) in Gujranwala from 17 June 2019 to 6 October 2021. He served as the 23rd Director-General of the ISI until he was replaced with Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed on 16 June 2019. He is also a holder of the Sword of Honour. Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif appointed him as 11th Chief of Army staff on 24 November 2022 for the term of 3 years. General (Pakistan)
General ; ur, ; abbreviated as GEN) is a four-star commissioned general officer and military rank in the Pakistan Army, officially used by the government of Pakistan to denote a supreme leader of the army. It is given to an army general officer (usually a lieutenant general) upon promotion or possibly a position advancement with a basic pay scale of 22 (BPS-22). It is the highest rank in the armed services with NATO's equivalent-rank code of OF-9, immediately ranks above three-star lieutenant general and below five-star field marshal. Sarfraz Ali (military Officer)
Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali ( ; 13 September 1971 – 2 August 2022) was a Pakistani general. He was the commander of the Pakistan Army's XII Corps from December 2020 until his death in a military helicopter crash on 2 August 2022. Personal life Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali is survived by a widow, two sons and a daughter. His son is also serving in the Pakistan Army as a Captain and was his ADC. Hilal-i-Imtiaz
The ''Hilaal-e-Imtiaz'' (; ), also spelled and transliterated as Hilāl-e-Imtiyāz, is the second-highest (in the hierarchy of "Hilal") civilian award and honour given to both civilians and military officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces by the Government of Pakistan. It recognises individuals who have made an "especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of Pakistan, world peace, cultural or other significant public endeavors". It is a civilian award, and not limited to the citizens of Pakistan. The honour is restricted to individuals who have made outstanding contributions in their fields that led to international recognition for the state. It is awarded in the fields of literature, arts, sports, medicine and science for civilians. Nishan-e-Imtiaz
The Nishan-e-Imtiaz (; ) is one of the state organized civil decorations of Pakistan. It is awarded for achievements towards world recognition for Pakistan or outstanding service for the country. However, the award is not limited to citizens of Pakistan and, while it is a civilian award, it can also be awarded to military personnel and worn on the uniform. Nishan, translating as decoration/order/mark, is a highly restricted and prestigious award, roughly equivalent to Presidential Medal of Freedom (United States) and Order of the British Empire (United Kingdom), and is the first category award of Order of Imtiaz. Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad ( ur, ; ) is a codename of a combined military operation by the Pakistani military in support of local law enforcement agencies to disarm and eliminate the terrorist sleeper cells across all states of Pakistan, started on 22 February 2017. Royal Military College ( ms, Maktab Tentera DiRaja; abbreviated RMC) is an all-boys military school established to train young Malaysians for service in the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF). RMC is an elite and prestigious College in Malaysia. It is sometimes dubbed "the Malaya's Sandhurst". On 9 December 1966, in a ceremony held at the college, HM Ismail Nasiruddin of Terengganu, the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, conferred the "Royal" (Malay: ''DiRaja'') title to the FMC. Pakistan Military Academy ( ur, ), also referred to by its acronym PMA. PMA is an officers training school located near Kakul village in the city and district of Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa established in 1947. It is the sole service academy in Pakistan tasked with transforming cadets into Army Officers. For educational training, the institution is accredited by NUST. Cadets have to go through 2 years of rigorous military training until they can finally be termed an Officer.
