Asian Minifootball Confederation
The Asian Mini Football Confederation is the administrative body for 6-a-side version of minifootball in Asia. It is one of five continental confederations of World Minifootball Federation. History The AMFC's assembly was held on 1 February 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The body was created and a new president, Mohammad Aldousari (president of the Saudi Minifootball Federation), was elected. The 2017 World Minifootball Federation World Cup was the second edition of the WMF World Cup, the world championship for men's national minifootball teams organized by the World Minifootball Federation. The tournament was contested in Nabeul city in Tunisia from 06–15 October 2017. The WMF World Cup is an international indoor soccer competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of World Minifootball Federation (WMF). History The first Indoor Soccer World Championship was organized in 1997 in Mexico City, under the auspices of the Federacion Internacional de Futbol Rapido (FIFRA). Twelve national teams participated in that tournament, with Mexico winning the final against the United States. In February 2012, the Federación Internacional de Fútbol Rápido hosted the first-ever FIFRA Club Championship in Monterrey, Mexico.
