Ashton Goudeau
Ashton Chase Goudeau (born July 23, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Monarchs of the American Association of Professional Baseball. Goudeau was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 27th round of the 2012 MLB draft. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds and Colorado Rockies. Career Amateur career Goudeau attended Union High School in Union, Missouri. Undrafted out of high school, he attended Maple Woods Community College. Toledo Mud Hens
The Toledo Mud Hens are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. They are located in Toledo, Ohio, and play their home games at Fifth Third Field. A Mud Hens team has played in Toledo for most seasons since 1896, including a 50-year history as a member of the now defunct American Association. The current franchise was established in 1965. They joined Triple-A East in 2021, but this was renamed the International League in 2022. Background Professional baseball had been played off and on in Toledo since 1883, and the Mud Hens era began in 1896 with the "Swamp Angels", who played in the Interstate League. The ''Washington Missourian'' is the Franklin County newspaper based in Washington, Missouri. The paper is owned by Missourian Publishing Company, a family-owned company. James L. Miller, Sr. purchased the paper in 1937. The Arkansas Travelers, also known informally as The Travs, are a Minor League Baseball team based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Modesto Nuts
The Modesto Nuts are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Modesto, California, and are named for the several types of nuts grown in the region. They play their home games at John Thurman Field, which opened in 1955. The Nuts adopted their current name in 2005 after the team's affiliation with the Oakland Athletics ended. Before then, the team was known as the Modesto Athletics (or A's) from 1975 to 2004. David Armstrong McKay (born March 31, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has previously played in MLB for the Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, and Tampa Bay Rays. Early life and college McKay attended and played baseball at Viera High School in Viera, Florida. He was selected by the New York Mets in the 30th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft out of high school but opted to attend Florida Atlantic University to play college baseball for the Florida Atlantic Owls instead. McKay played three seasons for the Owls, receiving a medical redshirt as a freshman after an injury cut his season short after two games. Idaho Falls Chukars
The Idaho Falls Chukars are an independent baseball team of the Pioneer League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB) but is an MLB Partner League. They are located in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and play their home games at Melaleuca Field. They adopted the name the Chukars following a fan vote when the major league affiliation changed after the 2003 season. A chukar is a game bird found in the region.
