Ashton James Eaton (born January 21, 1988) is a retired American decathlete and two-time Olympic champion, who holds the world record in the indoor heptathlon event. Ashton Sanborn (1882–1970) was an American archaeologist and museum director. He was the executive secretary of the American Red Cross Commission to Palestine from 1918 to 1919. He went on archaeological expeditions to Egypt in the 1920s. He served as the secretary of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston from 1925 to 1952.
