Ashley Allyn Roberts (born September 14, 1981) is an American singer, dancer, and media personality. She is a former member of the Pop music, pop group The Pussycat Dolls (2003–2010, 2019–2021), who sold over 55 million records worldwide, becoming one of the world's List of best-selling girl groups, best-selling female groups of all time. Roberts also had a brief career as a solo singer when she released the album ''Butterfly Effect (Ashley Roberts album), Butterfly Effect'' (2014). "You Raise Me Up" is a song originally composed by the Norwegian-Irish duo Secret Garden. The music was written by Secret Garden's Rolf Løvland, and the lyrics by Brendan Graham. After the song was performed early in 2002 by the Secret Garden and their invited lead singer, Brian Kennedy, the song only became a minor UK hit.
