Ashland High School is a Secondary education in the United States, public high school in Ashland, Kansas, Ashland, Kansas, United States, and operated by Unified School District 220. It competes within the KSHSAA 1A classification, it operates on a four-day school week, its teachers are on a 166-day contract, and a 96% attendance rate and 95-100% graduation rate has been accomplished. The school mascot is the Blue Jay, the school colors are blue and white. History Former principal G.N. Gould made fossil discoveries of a prehistoric "serpent" (Plesiosaurus) in a canyon where additional finds followed. In 1911 the Kansas High School Debating League was won by Fred Hinkle, Cale Carson, and Clarence Bare of Ashland High School. In 1943 students helped build a Livestock crush, livestock squeeze. The school has about 65 students.

The Benton County School District is a public school district based in Ashland, Mississippi (USA). The district's boundaries parallel that of Benton County. History Ashland Academy was established in Ashland in 1882. Reverend Enoch Wines was the school's first principal. W. P. Gunn also served as principal of the school. F. S. Ashland High School (AHS) is the only high school of the Ashland City School District of Ashland, Ohio. It has around 1200 students. Athletics Ashland High School has a long tradition in sports, especially baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, football and golf. The boys varsity golf teams have the only state championships recorded in school history, in 1962 and 1998. Ashland High School (AHS) is a public high school in Ashland, Oregon, United States, near the Southern Oregon University campus. History Fire On June 3, 2006 at 2:30 pm, a fire broke out in the AHS room behind the gym during a farewell assembly for the seniors. Students and teachers were evacuated. The gym was heavily damaged and Mountain Avenue was closed for hours. No one was hurt during the fire. The fire department determined that the fire had been started by two students with firework sparklers. Homecoming The homecoming dance on September 25, 2015 was the first school dance at AHS to feature gender-neutral "homecoming royalty". The change was initiated by student body presidents and approved by the principal at the time, Michelle Zundel.
