Ashiq Ilahi Bulandshahri
Muḥammad ‘Āshiq Ilāhī Bulandshahrī Muhājir Madanī (''Muḥammad ‘Āshiq Ilāhī al-Baranī al-Madanī'') was a prominent Indian Islamic scholar. He was a disciple of Muhammad Zakariyya Kandhlawi. Biography Ashiq Ilahi was born in Bulandshahr, United Provinces of British India in 1924 or 1925 (1343 AH). He graduated from Mazahir Uloom in 1363 AH. After completing his education, Ashiq Ilahi taught at various Indian madrasas and moved to Pakistan at the request of Muhammad Shafi Deobandi in 1384 AH. He taught tafsir and hadith for twelve years at the Darul Uloom Karachi. He later moved to Medina in 1396 AH where he died in 2002. He was buried in al-Baqi'. Mazahir Uloom
Mazahir Uloom ( ur, ) is an Islamic seminary located in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Started in November 1866 by Sa'ādat Ali Faqīh, and developed further by Mazhar Nanautawi and Ahmad Ali Saharanpuri; it is regarded as the second most influential and major Deobandi seminary in India. The earliest graduates of the seminary include famous Hadīth scholar Khalil Ahmad Saharanpuri. The seminary split in 1983 into Mazahir Uloom Jadeed and Mazahir Uloom Waqf Qadeem. The incumbent rectors are Muhammad Aaqil Saharanpuri and Muḥammad Saeedi respectively. Deobandis
Deobandi is a Islamic revival, revivalist movement within Sunni Islam, adhering to the Hanafi school of law, formed in the late 19th century around the Darul Uloom Deoband, Darul Uloom Madrassa in Deoband, India, from which the name derives, by Muhammad Qasim Nanautavi, Rashid Ahmad Gangohi, and several others, after the Indian Rebellion of 1857, Indian Rebellion of 1857–58. Abdur Rahman Ibn Yusuf Mangera
Abdur Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera (born 1974) is a Sunni Islamic scholar, author, and founder of Whitethread Institute and Zamzam Academy. He authored ''Fiqh al-Imam'' and ''Healthy Muslim Marriage''. He featured in the 2020 edition of The 500 Most Influential Muslims compiled by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre. Biography Mangera graduated from Darul Uloom Bury and studied Ifta at the Darul Uloom Zakariyya in South Africa and then at the Mazahir Uloom Jadeed in Saharanpur, India. Anwar Ul Bayan
Tafsir Anwar ul Bayan is a five volume commentary (exegesis) on the Quran that was written by Ashiq Elahi Bulandshahri. It was written in Urdu. Darul Uloom Karachi
Darul Uloom Karachi ( ur, دارالعلوم کراچی) is a Madrasa in Karachi, Pakistan. It was founded by Muhammad Shafi Deobandi in June 1951 at Nanak Wara and later on it transferred to Korangi, Karachi, on March 17, 1957. It continues the tradition of the Darul uloom system initiated by Darul Uloom Deoband. The institution has adopted a balanced approach between religious and worldly matters.
