Subhash Dutta (9 February 1930 – 16 November 2012) was a Bangladeshi filmmaker, theater and film actor. He started his career as a commercial artist. Career At the beginning of his career, Dutta worked as a film poster artist. He drew posters for Mukh O Mukhosh (1956), the first Bengali-language movie to be made in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). He directed his first movie, Sutorang, in 1964. The movie won the second prize at the Frankfurt Festival in 1965. In 1972, he acted with the theatrical group, ''Aranyak Nattyadal''. Farida Akhtar Poppy, known by her stage name Babita, is a Bangladeshi film actress. She is a popular actress in Bangladeshi films of the 1970s. Anwar Hossain (6 December 1931 – 13 September 2013) was a Bangladeshi actor, best known for playing the role of Siraj ud-Daulah in the Bengali film Nawab Sirajuddaula (1967). He appeared in nearly 500 movies in his 50-year career. He received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in the film ''Lathial'' (1975) and Best Supporting Actor awards for the films again for ''Golapi Ekhon Traine'' (1978) and ''Dayi Ke?''
