Arun Kaul
Arun Kaul (12 August 1933 – 21 July 2007) was a noted Kashmiri film maker and screenwriter. His film Diksha (1991), won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Movie for the year 1992. In the same year, he went on to win the Golden Lotus Award for the Best Hindi Film for ''Diksha'' (1992) at the National Film Awards India. He was the screenplay assistant to veteran filmmaker Gulzar, for the films ''Ijaazat'' (1987) and ''Lekin'' (1990). He was one of producers of the noted Science Serial ''TURNING POINT''. He also produced a Serial on Kashmir called ''KASHMIR FILE''. Kaul also wrote screenplay for the film Yash Chopra's Chandni (1989). He produced a film named '' Ek Adhuri Kahani'' directed by Mrinal Sen, a Bengali film maker in 1972. He was a key figure in Film Society movement. Kaul died on 21 July 2007, in New Delhi. New Delhi (, , ''Naī Dillī'') is the capital of India and a part of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT). Mrinal Sen
Mrinal Sen (''Beng.'' মৃণাল সেন; 14 May 1923 – 30 December 2018) was an Indian film director, and screenwriter known for his work primarily in Bengali, and few Hindi and Telugu language films. Regarded as one of the finest Indian filmmakers, along with his contemporaries Satyajit Ray, Ritwik Ghatak, and Tapan Sinha, Sen played major role in the New Wave cinema of eastern India. Sen has received various national and international honors including eighteen Indian National Film Awards. The Government of India honored him with the Padma Bhushan, and the Government of France honored him with the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, while Russian Government honored him with the Order of Friendship. Sen was also awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest award for filmmakers in India. Yash Chopra
Yash Raj Chopra (27 September 1932 21 October 2012) was an Indian people, Indian film director and film producer who worked in Bollywood, Hindi cinema. The founding chairman of the film production and distribution company Yash Raj Films, Chopra was the recipient of several awards, including 6 National Film Awards and 8 Filmfare Awards. He is considered among the best Indian filmmakers. For his contributions to film, the Government of India honoured him with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2001, and the Padma Bhushan in 2005.
