Artsakh Freedom Party
The Artsakh Freedom Party ( hy, Արցախի ազատություն կուսակցություն) is an Armenian political party in Artsakh. History The Artsakh Freedom Party was established on 19 January 2020. Its founder and current party leader is Zaven Rubenyan. The party currently has no parliamentary representation within the National Assembly and acts as an extra-parliamentary force. Zaven Rubenyan initially proclaimed that he would run for president in the 2020 Artsakhian general election. However, in February 2020, the party announced that it would endorse Arayik Harutyunyan for the presidency prior to the 2020 elections. The party also stated that it would cooperate with Harutyunyan's Free Motherland party, as well as, the Free Motherland - UCA Alliance. Following the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, the party opposed the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement stating that the agreement undermines the territorial integrity of Artsakh while endangering the security of the ...

Free Motherland
Free Motherland ( hy, «Ազատ Հայրենիք» կուսակցություն, ''Azat Hayrenik kusaktsutyun'') abbreviated as ԱՀԿ or AHK is a political party in Artsakh. The party was formed on 29 January 2005. Initially, the party consisted of four co-presidents: Arayik Harutyunyan, Arthur Tovmasyan, Rudik Hyusnunts and Arpat Avanesyan. History The party was founded on 29 January 2005. The chairman of the party is former Prime Minister Araik Harutyunyan. Politics of Artsakh takes place within the constraints of a written constitution, approved by a popular vote, that recognises three branches of government: executive, legislative and judicial. The executive branch of government is exercised within a framework of a presidential representative democratic republic, whereby the President of Artsakh is both the head of state and the head of government. Nikol Pashinyan
Nikol Vovayi Pashinyan ( hy, Նիկոլ Վովայի Փաշինյան, ; born 1 June 1975) is an Armenian politician serving as the prime minister of Armenia since 8 May 2018. A journalist by profession, Pashinyan founded his own newspaper in 1998, which was shut down a year later for libel. He was sentenced for one year for defamation against then Minister of National Security Serzh Sargsyan. He edited the newspaper ''Haykakan Zhamanak'' ("Armenian Times") from 1999 to 2012. Arayik Vladimiri Harutyunyan ( hy, Արայիկ Վլադիմիրի Հարությունյան; born 14 December 1973) is an Armenian politician who has been serving as the President of Artsakh since 2020. He was formerly the 1st State Minister from 2017 until his resignation in 2018 and 6th and last Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh from 2007 until its abolishment upon the adoption of a new constitution in 2017. 2020 Artsakhian General Election
General elections were held in the Republic of Artsakh on 31 March 2020, with a second round of the presidential election on 14 April. Voters elected the President and 33 members of the National Assembly. It was the first time the President and National Assembly were elected at the same time. The Free Motherland - UCA Alliance, United Motherland, Justice, ARF, and the Democratic Party won seats in National Assembly. No party won the majority of seats, which means that coalition talks are likely to be held within parties.
