Artist (film)
''Artist'' is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language drama film written and directed by Shyamaprasad. An adaptation of '' Dreams in Prussian Blue'', a paperback novel by Paritosh Uttam, the film is about two fine arts students, both driven by individual ambitions, who decide to live together. The film traces the course of their relationship and their progression as artists. The film features Fahadh Faasil playing Michael and Ann Augustine as Gayathri. The supporting cast includes Sreeram Ramachandran (of the sitcom ''Chumma'' on Amrita TV), Sidhartha Siva, Srinda Ashab (''Annayum Rasoolum''-fame), Krishnachandran and Vanitha along with a host of newcomers. The film was produced by M. Mani under his banner, Sunitha Productions. The music was composed by Bijibal the editing is by Vinod Sukumaran. Shyamaprasad
Shyamaprasad (born 7 November 1960) is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter and actor from Kerala. Career Shyamaprasad was born on 7 November 1960 at Palakkad, as the younger son of O. Rajagopal and Santhakumari. He was named after Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of Bharatiya Jan Sangh. He did his schooling at Basel Evangelical Mission Higher Secondary School, Palakkad. After completing his degree in Theatre Arts from the School of Drama and Fine Arts, School of Drama and Fine Arts, Thrissur, Calicut University, Shyamaprasad received the Commonwealth Scholarship in 1989 and did his Master in Media Production at the Hull University, England. He worked as an intern at the BBC and Channel 4, to Indian television and redefined the parameters of telefilms and documentaries in Malayalam Television with Doordarshan. T. N. Krishnachandran (born 16 June 1960) is an Indian actor, playback singer, and dubbing artist in Malayalam cinema and television. Career His debut movie was '' Rathinirvedam'' in 1978. He was the voice for actor Vineeth and Rahman and also for Kunchacko Boban in '' Aniyathi Pravu''. He won best dubbing artiste Kerala State Award for ''Kabuliwala'' (Vineeth) and '' Aniyathi Pravu'' (Kunchacko Boban). The Kerala State Film Awards are the film awards for a motion picture made in Kerala. The awards started in 1969 by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala and since 1998 the awards have been bestowed by Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of the Department of Cultural Affairs.
