Art Gauthier
Patrice Arthur "Nosey" Gauthier (March 14, 1904 – June 30, 1977) was a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who played 13 games in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens. He was born in Denver, Colorado, but grew up in Montreal, Quebec. He is buried in Montreal's Mount Royal Cemetery. Gauthier played for the Galt Terriers senior amateur team of the Ontario Hockey Association from 1924 until 1927. He returned to Montreal to make his professional debut with the Canadiens in the 1927-28 season, playing 13 games in the regular season, and one in the playoffs. It was his only time in the NHL. The Hamilton Tigers were a professional ice hockey team based in Hamilton, Ontario. They competed in the Canadian Professional Hockey League (CPHL) from 1926 to 1929 then in the International Hockey League (IHL) from 1929 to 1930. History After the Hamilton Tigers of the National Hockey League (NHL) was disbanded, the Tigers owners decided to revive the name as a minor league professional team in the new CPHL. The Hamilton Tigers were a professional ice hockey team based in Hamilton, Ontario. They competed in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1920 to 1925. The Tigers were formed by the sale of the Quebec Bulldogs NHL franchise to Hamilton interests. Buffalo Bisons (IHL)
The Buffalo Bisons were a professional ice hockey team representing Buffalo, New York, although they played home games in nearby Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, at the 5,000-seat Peace Bridge Arena. History The Bisons were founded in the Canadian Professional Hockey League for the 1928–29 season. The Bisons transferred to the International Hockey League for the next season. Buffalo were IHL league champions in 1931–32 and 1932–33, winning the F. G. "Teddy" Oke Trophy. On March 17, 1936, the Bisons lost their home arena due to damage caused by thirteen inches of wet snow deposited by an early Spring storm.
