Around The World In 80 Dreams
''Saban's Around the World in Eighty Dreams'' (french: Les Aventures de Carlos) is a French animated series that first premiered on Canal+ on November 13, 1992, and later aired on TF1 in December 1993. A co-production between Saban International Paris and TF1, with the participation of Canal+ and the CNC, the series focuses on Carlos (Based on Carlos Dolto, a French singer and celebrity) and his parrot Oscar, and three adopted children who live on Carlos' own tropical Island. Carlos loves to tell the children stories about how he met world famous important figures in history in spite of the children's disbelief. With the help of Grandma Tadpole, who lives on one of the beaches of the island, he travels back in time together with the children in order to prove to them that he is right. Bruno Bianchi (cartoonist)
Bruno Bianchi (, 6 September 1955 – 2 December 2011) was a French cartoonist, comics artist and animation director. Bianchi worked extensively as an artist, director and producer on animated television productions; including '' Heathcliff'', ''Iznogoud'' and most notably, ''Inspector Gadget'', which he also co-created. Career Bianchi started his career at DiC Audiovisuel (later DiC Entertainment) in 1977 at age 22 as a cel painter, then gradually assumed creative positions. His first director's credit was on the 1980 edutainment mini-series '' Archibald le Magichien'' (directly translated: ''Archibald the Magic Dog''). In 1983, Bianchi scored his first major directing job on ''Inspector Gadget'', a series he co-created with Andy Heyward and DiC's founder Jean Chalopin. Jetix (stylized as JETIX) was a children's entertainment brand owned by The Walt Disney Company. The brand was for a slate of action/adventure-related programming blocks and television channels. Jetix programming mainly originated from the Saban Entertainment library, airing live-action and animated series with some original programming. Jetix was first launched as a programming block in the United States on Toon Disney on February 14, 2004, to compete with Cartoon Network's Toonami block, and in Europe in April 2004. Amiga is a family of personal computers introduced by Commodore in 1985. The Atari ST is a line of personal computers from Atari Corporation and the successor to the Atari 8-bit family. The initial model, the Atari 520ST, had limited release in April–June 1985 and was widely available in July. Microids (formerly Microïds) is a French video game developer and Video game publisher, publisher based in Paris. Bohbot Kids Network (more commonly referred to and on-screen as BKN, originally known as Amazin' Adventures until 1997) is a children's programming block operated by Bohbot Entertainment (later BKN, Inc.) that aired in syndicated television stations from September 13, 1992.
