Arnold Pinnock
Arnold Pinnock (born 1967) is a Canadian actor who is perhaps best known for his appearance as Paul Greebie, Casey's guidance counselor, in ''Life with Derek''. Pinnock was born in Birmingham, England. His career began with sketch comedy at Toronto's Second City Mainstage before he moved on to television and film. He created, wrote, starred in and produced the 2022 CBC and BET series '' The Porter'', about the railway sleeping car porters who created North America's first Black labour union, the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters. ''Must Be Santa'' is a 1999 Canadian television film that tells the story of Floyd Court (Arnold Pinnock), who is selected as the successor to Santa Claus. Robert Sherrin produced the film while Brad Turner was director. At the time of its release, it was considered to be one of the most expensive such projects ever produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. It was made more expensive when production of the film was interrupted in February 1999 by a strike of the CBC's technicians. Production resumed in May after a labor settlement.
