Arne Berner
Arne Morten Berner (15 November 1927 – 9 December 1988) was a Finnish liberal politician who held many ministerial offices. Career He served as a Member of Parliament for six years from 1966–1972. From 1970–1971 he was appointed as both Minister of Trade and Industry and Deputy Minister of Health and Social Affairs. He was appointed as Minister of Trade and Industry again from 1976–1977. In 1982, he was appointed as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry and Chairman of the Liberal People's Party. Personal life His grandfather Sören Berner founded the family company ''Berner'' in 1883. His father Rolf B. Berner and his older brothers Harry Berner and Erik Berner were all CEOs of the company. Jaakko Itälä
Jaakko Itälä (1933–2017) was a Finnish politician. He served as the Minister of Education (Finland), minister of education for two terms in the 1970s. He was also a member of the Parliament of Finland, Parliament and head of the Liberals (Finland), Liberal People's Party. Biography Itälä was born in Porvoo on 7 May 1933. In the 1960s he became the general secretary of the school reform committee which developed a model for the elementary schools and headed the committee in late 1960s. During his term he contributed to the basic education reform in Finland. In 1968 Itälä was named as executive director of the Mannerheim Children's Protection Association. He served as minister of education for two terms: from 1970 to 1971 and from 1978 to 1979.
