Army Goodwill Schools
The Army Goodwill Schools is a system of schools in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh in India, which is run by Indian Army. There are 45 schools established by the Indian Army, as a part of goodwill initiative in Jammu and Kashmir. Currently, the Northern Command of the Indian Army is running 45 Army Goodwill Schools in Jammu and Kashmir, providing education to nearly 15,000 students. Army Goodwill Schools play an important role in providing quality education to the population affected by terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. Manoj Sinha
Manoj Sinha (born 1 July 1959) is an Indian politician serving as the 2nd and the current Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. He served as the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Communications and Minister of State for Railways in the Government of India. Sinha was elected as Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, representing Ghazipur for three terms from the Bharatiya Janata Party. Nazir Ahmad Wani
Lance Naik Nazir Ahmad Wani, AC, SM & Bar was an Indian soldier in the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry of the Indian Army. He was posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra, India's highest peacetime military decoration, in January 2019. He was the first recipient of the Ashok Chakra award from Kashmir region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Bandipore District
Bandipore district (also spelt as Bandipora or Bandipur) is one of the 20 districts in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Bandipore town is the administrative headquarters of the district. Bandipore, a township with peculiar scenic beauty is located in the foothills of the snow-clad peaks of Harmukh overlooking the shores of Wular Lake and has produced hundreds of scholars and intellectuals. The Bharat Scouts And Guides
The Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) is the national Scouting and Guiding association of India. The national headquarters of BSG is recognised by the Government of India. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces with its headquarters in New Delhi, India.
