Arkansas Impact
The Arkansas Impact was a team in the Premier Basketball League that played in the league's inaugural 2008 season. They played their home games at the Barton Coliseum in Little Rock. The city had been home to the Arkansas Rimrockers (who played in the American Basketball Association (ABA) for their first season and in the D-League for their last two), and the Coliseum was going to be part-time home to the failed ABA expansion team the Arkansas Fantastics. The Premier Basketball League, often abbreviated to the PBL, is an American professional men's basketball minor league that began play in January 2008. The league folded after the 2017 season. It was announced that the league would be revived under new management for the 2020 season. The league announced due coronavirus outbreak the season would be put on hold. Arkansas Rimrockers
The Arkansas RimRockers were a minor league basketball team based in North Little Rock, Arkansas, which played in the American Basketball Association and the NBA Development League. Season by season Franchise history The RimRockers began play during the 2004-05 season for the American Basketball Association. They posted a 32-5 record in the team’s inaugural season and won the ABA championship. Soon after winning the title, they left the ABA and began play in the NBA Development League for the 2005-06 season. On February 10, 2006, the team fired head coach Joe Harge, the only man to coach the team up to that point. He was replaced by Andy Stoglin. Stoglin said he would bring a much different style that begins with strict discipline.
