Arise And Ruin
Arise and Ruin was a Canadian metalcore band from Guelph, Ontario. Its members were Ryan Bauchman (vocals), Ben Alexis (bass), Derek Prince-Cox (drums), and guitarists Brent Munger, Sam Pattison, and Greg Richmond. History Arise and Ruin formed in 2005, and independently released the five-track EP ''Arise and Ruin''. In 2005, the group toured Canada with Silverstein, Underoath, Bleeding Through and Protest the Hero. They then signed with Toronto's Stereo Dynamite Recordings and, in 2006, released the five-track EP ''The Fear Of. In 2006, they signed with Victory Records and, in October, released their first album, ''The Final Dawn'', through American label Victory Records. They then toured with Misery Index, A Perfect Murder, Between the Buried and Me, The Red Chord, August Burns Red, and Cephalic Carnage. 2007 was a difficult year for the band. Guelph
Guelph ( ; 2021 Canadian Census population 143,740) is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Known as "The Royal City", Guelph is roughly east of Kitchener and west of Downtown Toronto, at the intersection of Highway 6, Highway 7 and Wellington County Road 124. It is the seat of Wellington County, but is politically independent of it. Guelph began as a settlement in the 1820s, established by Scotsman John Galt, who was in Upper Canada as the first Superintendent of the Canada Company. He based the headquarters, and his home, in the community. The area – much of which became Wellington County – had been part of the Halton Block, a Crown Reserve for the Six Nations Iroquois. August Burns Red
August Burns Red is an American metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, formed in 2003. The band's current lineup consists of lead guitarist John Benjamin "JB" Brubaker, rhythm guitarist Brent Rambler, drummer Matt Greiner, lead vocalist Jake Luhrs and bassist Dustin Davidson. The band was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Metal Performance for the song "Identity" from its 2015 release ''Found in Far Away Places'', and again in 2018 for "Invisible Enemy" from ''Phantom Anthem'' (2017). The band has released nine studio albums to date; their latest, ''Guardians'', was released on April 3, 2020. Hamilton is a port city in the Canadian province of Ontario. Mod Club Theatre
The Mod Club Theatre (commonly called Mod Club) was an entertainment venue in Toronto that operated from 2002 to 2020. Its address was 722 College Street, which is in the city's Little Italy neighbourhood. Founded by Platinum Blonde frontman Mark Holmes and fellow English-expat Bobbi Guy, the venue hosted live performances and DJ nights. Overview Mod Club Theatre had a 618 person capacity and a stage that was 24 feet wide x 18 feet deep. Its interior was accented with murals featuring images of 1960s mod subculture. Concert-goers could watch acts from the floor, the tables to the side of the room, or the second floor balcony. Ian Blurton (born 1965) is a Canadian musician and record producer. Early life He was born in Champaign, Illinois in 1965, and moved to Toronto in 1973. Dead and Divine was a five-piece post-hardcore band out of Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Their initial success spawned from their 2005 EP ''What Really Happened at Lover's Lane'' on Verona Records (a label created by the band themselves, and Silverstein's Shane Told). History Their first EP, ''What Really Happened at Lover's Lane'' sold nearly 1,000 copies nationwide, landing them a spot on the Canadian ''Billboard'' chart. The band then set off on an independently booked coast to coast Canadian headlining tour that following summer, playing in as many cities as they could. Emarosa ( ) is an American rock band formed in Lexington, Kentucky, in 2006. The band currently consists of lead guitarist and founding member ER White and lead vocalist Bradley Walden, who joined the band in 2013.
