LC Aris FC is an American soccer team based in La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States. Founded in 2008, the team plays in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a regional amateur league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The team play its home matches at Logan High School in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The team's colors are yellow, black and white. History Aris FC joined the National Premier Soccer League as an expansion team in 2009, having been formed by Greek American businessman Greg Saliaras, the owner of a successful soccer store in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and who named the team after his favorite club, Aris Thessaloniki. The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is an American men's association football, soccer league. The NPSL is a semi-professional league, comprising some teams that have paid players and some that are entirely amateur. The league is officially affiliated to the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and has automatic qualification for the U.S. Open Cup. It is the successor of the Men's Premier Soccer League, a regional league originally based in the Western United States, which has now expanded nationwide to encompass teams from 29 states. The 2014 National Premier Soccer League season was the 102nd season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States, and the 12th season of the NPSL. The season began in May 2014. Chippewa Falls is a city located on the Chippewa River in Chippewa County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 14,778 in the 2021 census. The 2022 National Premier Soccer League season was the 20th season of the National Premier Soccer League and part of the 110th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States. The regular season began on March 19 and ended on July 16. In total, 92 teams participated in this season. 2021 NPSL Season
The 2021 National Premier Soccer League season is the 19th season of the National Premier Soccer League and part of the 109th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States. The 2020 season was cancelled after five weeks of play due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Miami FC, the defending league champions from 2019, left in the previous off-season and joined the National Independent Soccer Association and later the USL Championship. The regular season started on May 1 and scheduled to conclude on July 17. There are 76 teams participating in this season with a further 14 playing in conferences that decided not to participate in the summer season. The 2020 National Premier Soccer League season was part of the 108th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States and the 18th season of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). The 2018 National Premier Soccer League season was part of the 106th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States and the 16th season of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). Elm City Express was the defending champion. The 2018 NPSL champion qualifies to play for the 2019 Hank Steinbrecher Cup organized by the United States Adult Soccer Association.
