Archery At The 2015 European Games – Mixed Team
The mixed team archery event at the 2015 European Games in Baku took place between 16 and 17 June. Ranking round The ranking round took place on 16 June 2015 to determine the seeding for the knockout rounds. It consisted of two rounds of 36 arrows, with a maximum score of 720. 29 nations entered at least one male and female archer, and so were eligible to qualify for the mixed team competition. The top 15 countries by combined score qualified, along with the hosts. Tofiq Bahramov Stadium
The Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium ( az, Tofiq Bəhramov adına Respublika Stadionu) is a multi-purpose stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It served as the home ground for the Azerbaijan national football team until they moved to the Baku Olympic Stadium. It holds 31,200 seats making it the second largest stadium in the country. Taru Kuoppa (born 14 November 1983) is a Finnish competitive archer. A member of the Finnish elite archery team since 2013, Kuoppa came close to her maiden podium triumph in the international scene, finishing fourth with her partner Antti Tekoniemi in the mixed team recurve at the 2014 European Championships in Yerevan, Armenia. Kuoppa currently trains at Lahden Vasama Archery Club in Lahti, under the tutelage of her coach Perttu Ronkanen. Alicia Marín Martínez (born 17 April 1997 in Madrid) is a Spanish recurve archer. She has competed for Spain at the Summer Youth Olympics, World Archery Championships, the Archery World Cup, and the European Games, winning a bronze medal in the latter in 2015. Career 2014-2016 Marín competed in her first senior tournament in 2014 at the European Outdoor Championships in Armenia, defeating Russia's Inna Stepanova in the bronze medal match to earn her maiden senior archery medal. Maja Buskbjerg Jager (born 22 December 1991) is a Danish recurve archer. A two-time competitor at the Olympic Games (2012 and 2020), Jager was the women's individual champion at the 2013 World Archery Championships, an achievement for which she was awarded the Danish Sports Name of the Year prize for 2013. Rick van der Ven (born 14 April 1991, in Oss) is a Dutch archer who started to practise archery at the age of 8. In 2009 at the World Junior Championship in Ogden, Utah Rick was the runner-up with a silver medal. In 2011 at the World Junior Championship in Legnica, Poland he won silver with the Mixed Team, bronze with the men's team and finished 4th in the individual event.
