Arcane (TV Series)
''Arcane'' (titled onscreen as ''Arcane: League of Legends'') is an animated action-adventure streaming television series created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. It was produced by the French animation studio Fortiche under the supervision of Riot Games and distributed by Netflix. Set in Riot's ''League of Legends'' fictional universe, it primarily focuses on sisters Vi and Jinx. The series was announced at the ''League of Legends'' 10th anniversary celebration in 2019, and first released in November 2021. Following the conclusion of the first season, Riot Games and Netflix announced that a second season was in production for a 2022 release. Animation is a method by which still figures are manipulated to appear as moving images. High-dynamic-range Video
High-dynamic-range television (HDR or HDR-TV) is a technology that improves the quality of display signals. It is contrasted with the retroactively-named standard dynamic range (SDR). HDR changes the way the luminance and colors of videos and images are represented in the signal, and allows brighter and more detailed highlight representation, darker and more-detailed shadows, and a wider array of more intense colors. Fortiche Production SAS is a French animation studio headquartered in Paris. Its biggest project to date is the television series ''Arcane''. Development Fortiche was founded in 2009 and initially created commercials for Coca-Cola, Honda, Samsung, Panasonic and MTV. From the start, a combination of 2D and 3D animation has defined the studio's style, the "Touche Fortiche". They moved on to creating music videos, created for Freak Kitchen, Gorillaz and LIMOUSINE. These projects caught the attention of video game studios such as Ubisoft, Volition Studios, Carbine Studios and Riot Games.
