Appleton North High School
Appleton North High School is a comprehensive secondary school in Appleton, Wisconsin that is part of the Appleton Area School District. Opened in August 1995, it is the most recently built of the three four-year public high schools in the district. The school has 1,780 students. The school colors are gold, silver and navy blue. The school's nickname is the Lightning. Extracurricular Activities Theater Appleton North High School Theatre has received wide recognition for its productions. In 2020, the department's one-act production of ''Saint Joan'' received the Critic's Choice award at the Wisconsin High School Theatre Festival state finals, marking the 22nd consecutive year that Appleton North's theater program received this accolade. Appleton ( mez, Ahkōnemeh) is a city in Outagamie, Calumet, and Winnebago counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. One of the Fox Cities, it is situated on the Fox River, southwest of Green Bay and north of Milwaukee. Appleton is the county seat of Outagamie County. Sarah Hagen
Sarah Marie Hagen (born November 18, 1989) is a retired professional soccer player who is currently an assistant coach for the Green Bay Glory in the USL W League. She previously played for Houston Dash, Orlando Pride, FC Kansas City and the German club FC Bayern Munich. In 2014, she earned two caps for the United States national team. Early life Hagen is the daughter of Michele and Charlie Hagen. She was a soccer all-state selection for three years at Appleton North High School. At age 15, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and underwent a series of surgeries and chemotherapy. She had her last surgery on May 6, 2005.
