Appavi
''Appavi'' () is a 2011 Indian Tamil language film written and directed by R. Raghuraj and produced by V. L. Dhandapani. The film stars includes debutant Gautham and Suhani Kalita in the lead roles, while K. Bhagyaraj, Soori, Sriranjini, Mahadevan, and Manobala play supporting roles. The music was composed by Joshua Sridhar with cinematography by E. Krishnasamy and editing by V. T. Vijayan. The film released on 1 April 2011 after much delay. Plot Bharathi (Gautham) is a refined college goer and a gem among his peers, while secretly, he is a daring vigilante who executes corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, terrorists, and anyone who harms the general public. Bharathi marks his crimes by recording his victim's confessions of wrongdoings in their mobile phones and circulating these as MMSs before executing them. Suhani Kalita (born 25 December 1991) is an Indian actress and model, who has appeared in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Bengali and few Bollywood films. Joshua Sridhar
Joshua Sridhar (born 1974 in Chennai, India) is an Indian composer. He made his debut on the runaway hit Tamil film ''Kaadhal'' which was released on 8 December 2004. Early life and education Joshua Sridhar was born in Chennai on 9 March 1974 to Saravanan and Rajalakshmi. He studied at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Rajaji Vidyashram in Chennai from 1980 to 1990. After finishing High School he studied Western Classical Music for two years. He studied 8 Grades (Trinity College, London) in both Theory of Music and Piano. In 1993 he converted to Christianity and was baptised at Emmanuel Methodist Church (Chennai) and was given the name Joshua, the biblical character from the old testament. Ramalakshmanan Muthuchamy, professionally known as Soori, is an Indian actor and comedian who predominantly appears in Tamil film industry. Career Soori moved from Madurai to Chennai in 1996 with the intention of becoming an actor in the Tamil film industry. After failing to get any roles, he took up work in the city as a cleaner to fund his acting ambitions. Mahadevan (born 6 May 1961 as Mahadevan) is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world.
