The Apostolic Nunciature to Armenia ( hy, Առաքելական նունսիատուրա Հայաստանին, translit=Arrak’elakan nunsiatura Hayastanin) is an ecclesiastical office of the Catholic Church in Armenia. It is a diplomatic mission of the Holy See, whose representative is called the Apostolic Nuncio with the rank of an ambassador. Northern Avenue, Yerevan
Northern Avenue ( hy, Հյուսիսային պողոտա, translit=Hyusisayin poghota) is a pedestrian avenue in Yerevan, Armenia, opened in 2007. It is in the central Kentron district and links Abovyan Street with Freedom Square on Tumanyan street. It is long and wide. Located in downtown Yerevan, the avenue is mainly home to luxurious residential buildings, high-end branded shops, commercial offices, coffee shops, hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs. Marek Solczyński
Marek Solczyński is a Polish prelate of the Catholic Church who joined the diplomatic service of the Holy See in 1993 and served as an Apostolic Nuncio since 2011. He has been Nuncio to Turkey and Azerbaijan since February 2022. Biography After studying Theology and Philosophy, Marek Solczyński was ordained a priest on 28 May 1987 by Cardinal Józef Glemp. He then worked as a chaplain in Józefów. From 1990 to 1992 he completed postgraduate studies at the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy and earned a doctorate in canon law. Claudio Gugerotti (born 7 October 1955) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who was named prefect of the Dicastery for the Eastern Churches in November 2022. He previously worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See, holding the position of nuncio in several eastern European countries between 2001 and 2020 and in Great Britain from 2020 to 2022. He joined the staff of the Dicastery for the Eastern Churches in 1985 and was its undersecretary from 1997 to 2001. He has been an archbishop since 2001. Peter Stephan Zurbriggen (27 August 1943 – 28 August 2022) was a Swiss archbishop of the Catholic Church, who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See from 1993 until his retirement in 2018. He was Apostolic Nunzio to Austria from 2009 to 2018. Biography He was born and died in Brig, Switzerland.
